Examination System


  1. Attendance is compulsary for all tests and examination held during the year. No consideration will be given to absentees, except on medical grounds.
  2. Subjects like Health and Physical Education (HPE), Yoga, Performing Arts & Crafts,Music,General Knowledge, French will also be graded.
  3. It is the responsibility of students and parents to ensure that they do not miss any examination.
  4. Requests for change in examination dates or timings shall not be entertained.


Pre-Nur to Prep

  • Students of Pre-Nur, Nursery and Prep will be assessed on their day to day performance.
  • No formal examination will be conducted.

Class I-X: (As per CBSE Norms)

(A) The distribution of the weightage for the entire session would be :
      Written Examination : 80%
      Internal Assessment : 20%
      Total                         : 100 %
(B) There would be three times written testing out of which best two would be considered (10%)
  • Pre-Mid Term  (20-July to 28-July )
  • Mid Term  (18 Sep- 26 Sep)
  • Post Mid Term (08 Dec - 20 Dec)
  • At the end of the session, written examination will be held (80%)  (12 Feb-28 Feb). The final written examination would comprise of 100% syllabus coverage.

(C) The Internal Assessment would be -

  • Subject wise assessment - 10% (Three assessments out of which best two would be considered).
  • Subject wise activities -- 5% (English and Hindi-- Listening & Speaking skills), (Science - Practical practice), (Mathematics-- projects), (Social Science-- Map work and projects).
  • Maintainence of notes copies -- 5%
